Saturday was incredible. Rosslyn Chapel is a little gem only about 7 or 8 miles from Edinburgh. I had arranged for a tour through Viator when home so that I could see the chapel and also see what Hadrian’s Wall looked like. It cost about $75 Cdn and it was worth every penny. The driver/guide told stories and relayed historical information with such enthusiasm. And he made more stops than were in the itinerary adding in some of his favourites. I saw theMelrose Abbey and another ruined Abbey at Jedburgh. We got to view a beautiful old viaduct and Sir Walter Scott’s favourite viewpoint. The 10 hours was filled with delightful scenes.
